Motion sickness

Visual-vestibular conflict. As the bus turns, the passenger on the left has a fixed external visual reference and has no visual-vestibular conflict. The passenger on the right, who is reading the paper, experiences a conflict because the visual input is still but the vestibular system is sensing motion.
